FidusCheck is designed to sit in the gap: portable enough for daily use, but powerful enough to combine multiple screening methods in one device.
FidusCheck uses interchangeable inductive tips to screen coins, bullion and metal items without damaging the surface.
Different inductive tips are designed for different item sizes and depths, helping detect inconsistencies such as unusual cores, layered construction, density anomalies and internal voids.
What it detects: Tungsten-core bars, layered metals, density anomalies, internal voids and unusual metal responses.
The resistive tip is designed for direct metal surface checks using a precision 4-wire measurement method.
This helps identify conductive mismatches, plated items, alloy differences and suspicious surface behaviour that visual inspection can miss.
What it detects: Gold-plated coins, alloy differences, unusual conductivity, surface treatments and suspicious metal behaviour.
The gemstone tip is designed specifically for diamond and gemstone screening.
It combines thermal testing and electrical conductivity testing with supporting optical checks such as UV fluorescence and white-light inspection found on the device, helping separate diamonds from common simulants.
What it detects: Moissanite, CZ, synthetic stones, treated stones and unusual fluorescence patterns.
A further specialist testing capability is currently in development.
